Twenty years ago, at 3:45 in the morning, this little angel came into our world...and we were never the same.
I was so glad I was able to celebrate Ariel's birthday with her. I got sick early that morning and wasn't much fun the rest of the day. I was supposed to drive back to Vegas, but I wasn't well enough. The only positive thing about being sick was that I got to stay an extra day. We watched some of the memorials on TV about 9/11, which happened on her 10th birthday. My mom made her a delicious dinner of lettuce wraps. It was a great birthday weekend, I hated it to end. Happy Birthday Ariel!
