While I was in Utah the end of July, we attended the outdoor symphony in Park City. We had VIP passes so we got to attend a delicious dinner and then had great seats to watch the Symphony perform. Jen and I sat with a really nice couple during the dinner part. The lady is a very good friend of my moms and she insisted we sit with them. I would have much preferred for me and Jen to sit alone and we would have had way more fun...but they were still very nice. Jon and Meg came up but not early enough for us to eat dinner with them. Thankfully, we did get to sit together for the show. It was a beautiful night in Park City. It was threatening to rain most of the night but only a few drops fell at the very end of the show. Jon and Meg were so fun to be with and I know they were glad for a night out. They were enjoying their "couple time" holding hands and all. Just to tease them..Jen kept reaching over and holding my hand or putting her hand on my leg. It was pretty funny. They gave us some awkward looks...and we just laughed. We had a great time together we wish mom could have stayed for the show. She goes each year and sets up and makes sure the board members get their name badges and their tickets. She didn't want to stay this year because dad couldn't be there, so we were sad about that.
